Whilton Mill kart track is one of the premier  karting venues in the UK, hosting national level races, as well as corporate hospitality and private events. The circuit now provides most of its electricity from its 50kW solar photovoltaic system, designed and installed by Powersun.

Using 190W Monocrystalline panels and a Fronius CL48 inverter, the system will generate up to 40MWh of power annually and is currently exceeding expectations.
